Group and company training is an option for companies serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or those who are looking to create a more inclusive work environment. Foster parent groups, host home providers, residential agencies, parent support groups, case management, day program agencies, other service providers may be a great candidate for this option! Group training and dissemination is a passion of mine!
Group or company trainings are available on a variety of subjects, including:
Building healthy habits and routines for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Recognizing consequences - how our responses shape behavior
Creating environments that welcome everyone and set people up for success
Basics of behavior analysis
Trauma-informed response to behavior
The importance of movement and health behaviors
ABA in foster care
Foster parent behavior training
Trainings are typically presented virtually, but I am available for in-person trainings within the Northern Colorado area. Further trainings will require travel coverage and additional fees.
I am also able to customize a training for your specific group or company needs. One time, ongoing, whatever you need. Select ‘Custom training’ and fill out the interest form to work together to create a consultation package that helps you help others.
